Small Batch Supply

THE PROCESS

1. Sourcing:
Identification and procurement of fabrics and trims for both sample development and full-scale production.

2. Technical Design Support:
Expert assistance in creating detailed technical packs, encompassing precise specifications for design, fit, and garment construction.

3. Sample Pattern Making:
Drafting of initial "shell" patterns based on design briefs, focusing on the primary outer structure of the garment.

4. Toiling (Mock-up):
Creation of a prototype using inexpensive fabric (e.g., calico) to evaluate aesthetic outcomes and fit.

5. Fitting:
Evaluation of the toile using full body dress forms or fit models to resolve design and technical aspects before pattern finalization.

6. Sample Pattern Finalization:
Refinement of the initial pattern into a master pattern, including the creation of secondary pieces (linings, facings, trims) and essential cutting information.

7. Sample Cutting and Making:
Preparation of pattern pieces for cutting and fusing, followed by the precise assembly of the first prototype by a skilled sample machinist.

8. Prototype Fitting:
A crucial fitting session post-sample construction to assess design and fabric choices, allowing for necessary adjustments.

9. Factory Sourcing:
Identification and vetting of suitable manufacturing partners.

10. Pre-Production Sampling:
Facilitation of sample creation by potential factories to assess make quality, estimate production times, and identify potential issues.

11. CMT Price Quotation:
Obtaining precise Cut, Make, and Trim (CMT) pricing based on sample production, quantities, and sizing.

13. Digital file, markers & card patterns:
Your patterns will be prepared as an electronic .DXF file (including a PDF version), a plotted marker, or a card pattern set, depending on your local or offshore factory requirements.

12. Grading & Specification sheets:
Producing excellent size grades to customer and market needs. Creation of graded specification sheets for production.

14. Production Management Support:
Support and direction toward local or offshore sampling and production, including fit assessments and technical pack updates.

15. Production Planning:
Strategic organization of production timelines, scheduling, and resource allocation to ensure timely delivery.

16. Supplier Management:
Cultivating and maintaining robust relationships with all manufacturers, textile suppliers, and production partners.

17. Compliance and Ethical Production:
Ensuring adherence to all industry standards, Labor laws, environmental regulations, and ethical sourcing practices.
